🎨 Walter Anderson Museum of Art
This small museum is one of Jenna’s favorites—a hidden treasure on the Gulf Coast. Dedicated to the life and work of Mississippi artist Walter Inglis Anderson, the museum celebrates his vibrant, whimsical, and deeply spiritual connection to nature, the sea, and southern life.
Anderson’s murals, sketches, and watercolors capture the beauty of the coast in a way that feels both intimate and magical. If you have a free morning or afternoon, this is a meaningful place to explore and a glimpse into the heart of the region.
